Who we are
About the Booster Club
A volunteer, parent-led nonprofit supporting Vikings Football — with more teams to come.
Why we exist
Our Mission
Viking Nation exists to build a stronger Rainier Beach by investing in the young people, families, programs, and traditions that make this community what it is.
We create opportunities where resources may be limited. We bring people back to the community that helped shape them. We connect businesses, alumni, families, neighbors, and supporters to meaningful ways to invest. And we make sure our young people know there is an entire community standing behind them.
What began with a commitment to support Rainier Beach athletics is growing into something much bigger: a community built around opportunity, pride, connection, and the belief that every young person at Rainier Beach deserves to be seen, supported, and given the chance to thrive.
We are not just supporting what happens today. We are building what Rainier Beach deserves next.
Why partner with Viking Nation
Rainier Beach remembers who shows up
This community knows the businesses that have been here. The mom-and-pop restaurants. The barbershops. The salons. The contractors. The realtors. The neighborhood stores. The businesses whose owners grew up here, raised families here, hired people from here, sponsored teams here, and kept showing up. When your business partners with Viking Nation, we want this community to know your name for more than what you sell.
We want them to know you showed up.
Your investment stays close to home
Your sponsorship helps us create opportunities and experiences for Rainier Beach students and families that should not depend on what someone can afford out of pocket. That can mean meals, equipment, academic recognition, student experiences, transportation, celebrations, community events, youth programming, and the things that help young people feel supported both inside and outside of school.
As Viking Nation grows, so will the ways we are able to show up.
Build it with us
This is the founding chapter of Viking Nation. The businesses that step in now are not simply joining another sponsorship program. They are helping establish what Viking Nation can become for Rainier Beach for years to come. That deserves to be remembered.
Every business that sponsors during our founding year will be permanently recognized as a Founding Sponsor of Viking Nation.
